Your checking account can be covered to virtually eliminate overdrafts, by using WPCCU’s CashAccount line of credit. Once established, it will automatically monitor your checking balance. It will detect any draft that will overdraw your WPCCU checking and automatically cover that payment. This means you avoid all sorts of fees that can arise with a bounced check.

It’s not free, but there are no fees

There is no month service charge associated with making this service available. Nor are there any per draft charges associated with using CashAccount to transfer money to your WPCCU checking account.

The balance on your CashAccount Line of Credit does accrue a finance charge. But there is no fixed repayment term, so you can pay down as much or as little as you want, up to your approved CashAccount balance limit.
