A Message From Our Chair
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to present the Chair’s Report of Water and Power Community Credit Union (WPCCU) for the year ending 2025.
This year, we celebrate our 90th Anniversary. We celebrate you, our members. Your support, loyalty, and participation have been the driving force behind our success for nine decades. Thank you for choosing us.
We remain committed to our strategic goal of delivering exceptional service to our members, with growth this past year driven by our enhanced products and service levels. Most notably, our debit card conversion brought our program in line with industry standards through the introduction of contactless cards. To support this growth, we invested in leading-edge technologies that safeguard your assets with enhanced fraud protection. These efforts reinforced our cooperative values and commitment to putting members first. WPCCU continued to provide fair, affordable financial services while preserving the financial strength and stability our members count on.
WPCCU strengthened reserves with $89.2 million for the year. We remain well-capitalized to support members into the future. We achieved steady loan growth, maintained strong savings balances, and liquidity levels were sound. Your Board is confident in the strength of your credit union. We will continue to focus on meeting the evolving needs of our members without losing sight of the personal service that defines us.
In closing, I extend my sincere gratitude to my fellow directors for their voluntary service and commitment throughout the year. Thank you to the management team and staff. Your service to our members drives the success that defines us.
