A message from our CEO

March 19: COVID-19 Update

Dear Members:

We are experiencing a historic event in our country and all of us are affected in some way.  I assure you that your team at WPCCU has been working around the clock so we can continue the high level of service you have always enjoyed with us.  We are mindful of the public health guidance that limits gatherings of more than ten people and suggests reasonable social distance in order to flatten the curve of this pandemic.  To that end, we have instituted actions to protect our members and employees as much as possible, while continuing to serve your financial needs.

Our mobile and online banking services are available 24/7 to meet your basic transaction needs, and you can also contact us anytime at 800-300-9728 for assistance.  Our Sunset, Sun Valley and Westchester branches remain open for normal business, and we have temporarily closed our Northridge and Hope Street branches.  Branch staffing will be slightly reduced but all normal services are available.  All WPCCU ATMs are accessible, as is the 30,000-strong CO-OP ATM network you can use for free.  Our debit and credit card systems are working flawlessly, so you can be assured your online and in-person card transactions will be approved.

WPCCU has the financial strength and capital to weather this or any other storm that comes our way.  Please see our 2019 annual report for details.  And your accounts are federally insured by the NCUA for up to $250,000*. Thank you to those members who continue to choose us for their vehicle and home purchase needs. We are ready to serve you.

We are here to guide you through these unsettled times, while ensuring any precautions we take do not adversely affect your ability to access your money or perform banking activities.  If you need financial assistance, please call us at 800-300-9728 as we have many programs available to help our members though any hardship.  And should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me: ceo@wpcu.org

Thank you for your membership, take good care and be well.
