How do I open a new account?
For your convenience, you can open your basic membership account through our online process. Click the open new account button and follow the online instructions.
What do I need to open a new account?
- Two valid forms of I.D. (If your I.D. doesn’t reflect your current address, you’ll need to also provide a copy of your utility bill or other documentation.)
- Social Security number
- A credit card or bank account to fund your new account
- A $25 deposit and 5 minutes of your time
How do I open additional savings accounts if I am a current member?
Current members should call us at 800-300-9728 or stop by a branch for assistance.
Before I open a new account, I’d like to know if I’m approved for a loan. How should I proceed?
We encourage you to apply for your loan first here: www.wpccu.org/consumer-loan-apply. Once your loan is approved and you accept, our team will work with you to open your new membership account.
How long will it take for my online membership application to get approved?
After submitting your application online, you should hear back from us within 24 hours or by the next business day. If you do not hear from us by then, please give us a call.
My application was approved. What’s next?
After your new account is opened, we’ll provide you with specific account details. This includes how to access and manage your account(s) through our convenience tools, like online and mobile banking. If you have any questions before then, just give us a call.
